Me to You: Colleen ‘Cosmo’ Murphy

Currently based in The Netherlands, British-born Fiona MacPherson-Amador is a sound and  cultural theorist. After completing a music degree in London, where she specialised in avant-garde composition and audiovisual practice, Fiona shifted her research to a deeper cultural analysis. With an extensive curiosity into how sound can make us all feel, Fiona completed her MA research thesis entitled “Sound Installations and Soundwalks as Sonic Approaches towards the Politicisation of Urban Acoustic Ecologies”. When she’s not writing about music and feelings, Fiona is painting portraits, and gettin’ groovy at the disco.
