We traveled the globe to meet 150 incredible collectors in their own environments, and this project wouldn’t have been possible without the support of many talented designers, writers, and editors. The result is a gigantic, mother of a 650-page hardcover tome that represents more than just a collection of images and stories; it’s an exploration of the rich and diverse experiences that define the vinyl community today.
Dust & Grooves Volume 2 and Portables are now available for sale and will ship out on October 15.
Here’s the deal: there are only a limited number of copies available, and if you remember how quickly Volume 1 sold out during our launch kick-off, you’ll know how fast these can go. So make sure you grab your first edition before it’s gone!
About the new books
In the brand new Dust & Grooves Volume 2, we got together with over 150 of the world’s greatest collectors and selectors for this 650-page masterpiece: A-Trak, Colleen Murphy, DāM FunK, Peanut Butter Wolf, Quantic, DJ Spinna, Kid Koala, Don Letts, Andy Votel, Shawn Lee, Mayer Hawthorne, and bass maestro Ron Carter…the list goes on. Not only does it feature stunning design and photography, it also includes 325 pages of extensive interviews and features, revealing the motives and backstories behind fourteen dedicated vinyl enthusiasts.
To mark the 10th Anniversary of Dust & Grooves, we are also releasing a super box set, complete with Dust & Grooves Volume 2, as well as a special anniversary edition of Dust & Grooves Volume 1.
We’re also going beyond records with a new edition to the family: our little baby, Portables. Be sure to check it out— 470 pages of portable vinyl players that are as cool and cute as they sound, and downright essential for any collector.
