Update: Dust & Grooves second edition book and The Postcard Box
The Dust & Grooves Book – Second Edition with Questlove
If you didn’t think the book could get any bigger (or better)… the second edition of Dust & Grooves contains 20 additional pages, profiles even more collectors, and includes a full interview with the master drummer, bandleader, DJ, and collaborator Questlove. The official release date is November 28 and it’s available for pre-sale now. This updated 436-page tome is $68 (or with a slipcase for $95) and it ships approximately mid-November.
Dust & Grooves Postcard Box
Keeping his photos in the physical realm, Eilon created a beautiful box set of images from the Dust & Grooves book. The postcard box contains 48 individual photographs printed on thick 5×7 inch matte art paper, with unique designs on the back of each one. As well as some personal favorites from the book, the set also includes some never-seen-before photos from the Dust & Grooves archives and a print by the Brazilian designers 45JJ. You can pre-order the postcard box now in the Dust & Grooves shop for $33.30 (a nod to vinyl’s standard revolutions per minute), and it ships mid to late-November. #vinylpostcard
Local shipping rates to European Customers
We’ve been working really hard to have the book and the postcard box available in Europe and ship with local rates. UK shipping as low as $15, Germany, France, Holland as low as $17. Check out the online store.
Also, stay tuned for new features on the Dust & Grooves site. Coming up next: Kevin Foakes (aka Strictly Kev), the main dude behind DJ Food.
Keep digging,
The Dust & Grooves Team.
All of them are beautiful!
I’ve tried to buy the earlier edition from my local bookstore but it was not available for sale. Will this edition be made available for order by bricks-&-mortar bookstores?
The postage to Asia is very likely to be high if I order online directly from D&G.
Hi,
The book will be available in select stores. Where in Asia?
In Malaysia. The largest and best local bookstore is Kinokuniya, a store from Japan.
I happened to be in Paris during your launch. I should have picked it up then, since I got an invite from Paulo Superfly and gang.
There is a store in Seoul that stocks the book.

Get yourself on Santa’s nice list and hope to find this beauty under the tree. Awesome, the physical format is the only way forward for this gem. If you don’t scramble to check out the Mixclouds after viewing the pics and features, better check your pulse. My book of the year, no contest
I recently bought the 2nd edition of your book. thank you so much for all the great pics and stories. I really love to sit in my record room and go through it while listening to the sound of my stereo (today its Thelonious Monk’s Underground). I think you’re absolultely right to say that record collecting is a physical and mental workout. Digging vinyl is sometimes quite demanding. It’s a physical experience. mp3 is nice but will never smell like an old record from the sixties!
Thank you Jens!
